had an amazing family holiday in hermanus and whale rock luxury lodge exceeded our expectations. the rooms were spacious, the staff was super welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. the pool area and lounge were cosy and inviting. will definitely go back if we visit hermanus again!

Coffee could've been better.

It is really close to the airport. The breakfast was amazing, there was everything. We really enjoyed service and the food, no complaints.

It was truly an excellant stay. A good home base for exploring Hermanus...

Had nice stay during our visit, the staff were incredible, location was BEAUTIFUL right next door to the Township. We liked a generous breakfast with excellent coffee, a view of the garden and sumptuous food. Location: the hotel was near to South Africa, the harbour in Hermanus and a taxi to restaurants. Westcliff district was worth exploring. Have stayed here many times and would love to come back here some time.

Everything was simply perfect. A safe, a minibar, and a sofa bed were available in my king suite. I had breakfast in the bar.

I had such a wonderful stay at this place! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I was traveling with my small baby. The breakfast options were extensive, with so much choice available. The pool area was so relaxing and the perfect spot to unwind. I also loved the common area with the honesty bar system, it was a great concept. The location of this hotel was ideal as it was away from the crowded main street, but still close enough to start the walk along the beautiful coastal path. The house and garden area had a very relaxing and secure atmosphere, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The venue has impressive rooms and extremely friendly and excellent staff apart from the beautiful setting the personal service that we received from the manager. There is a lounge area, a terrace, and a balcony - that's always a plus...

Over Easter weekend, my partner and I had an amazing stay at a stylish guest house. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We loved the delicious breakfast and the spacious room had all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect for us, as it was walking distance to the harbour where we went on an incredible whale watching cruise. We also enjoyed a leisurely walk along the stunning cliff path.

That we found the room to be quite stuffy and lacked ventilation. We had to keep the curtains open to get some fresh air in, but it meant that we had no privacy.

stunningly beautiful hotel that has marvellous and beautiful location to main area of hermanus along the coastal walk. bright and reasonably spacious room, courteous staff. fantastic breakfast with various food choices. location near to trees for shade as well as the new harbor where the boats leave for the excursions to see the whales. 5 minutes' walk to new harbour. nice pool, parking onsite. late check-out.

We loved the location of the hotel, as it was situated in beautiful gardens close to the harbor with a nice fish restaurant and a great view of the coast. The rooms were spacious and had lovely bathrooms with a well-lit interior design. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was both delicious and well presented. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the warm bonfire.

The price of staying at this hotel was a bit on the high side.

It was a true delight to relax and unwind here.
